And so, what of the graveyard of old ideas, left unformed and amorphous after all this time since their inception? All the notes left behind become instructions, the defeated and abandoned ideas can now be understood as conceptual art in the style of Sol LeWitt. Whether or not these former dead-ends become enacted heuristic endeavors is another exercise entirely. Or perhaps, they will be left only as hauntological blueprints, signifying something that almost was but never will be, their potentialities still dormant within the scribbles and scraps. Contrary to the curatorial and conservationist missions of art institutions, even dust itself can be ___.
